Privacy Policy

At EQT (Easy QR Transfer), accessible from eqt.net.im, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and software users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by EQT and how we use it.

Local Network Operation (Zero Cloud Storage)

EQT is designed as a peer-to-peer (P2P) local network file transfer utility. All file transfers and communications between your devices occur strictly within your local area network (LAN). Your files, texts, and messages are transferred directly from one device to another and are never uploaded to any external servers, databases, or cloud environments. We do not collect, read, or store any files or chat logs transferred via EQT.

Licensing & Device Verification

When activating a paid license, EQT securely communicates with our online license verification service to validate your license. This check transmits an irreversible, anonymized hardware device identifier to verify device seat limits. It does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or private data.

Third-Party Payment Reseller (Paddle)

We use Paddle.com as our online reseller and Merchant of Record (MoR) for all Plus licenses and subscription payments. When you purchase EQT Plus, your payment checkout is handled directly by Paddle. Paddle collects personal and financial transaction data, including your name, email, billing address, and payment credentials.

Paddle shares basic non-sensitive order details (such as your email address, purchase date, order status, and license type) with EQT so we can issue your license code and provide customer support. We do not store or have access to your credit card details or bank credentials.

Anonymous Download Telemetry

When downloading EQT from our website, our edge network records anonymized telemetry consisting of the requested version, filename, coarse geographical region/country, and a one-way salted hash identifier. We never record, log, or store your raw IP address or personal data.

Cookies

This website uses cookies strictly to store visitor language preferences. We do not use tracking, marketing, or advertising cookies.
